TWO SUSTAINABLE BRANDS. OUR CONSCIOUS COLLAB CONTINUES…
Every time we team up with sustainable clothing brand Hackwith Design House, we feel all the love and inspiration for eco-conscious design. This season, the Hackwith team visited us in our hometown of St. Louis for an unforgettable inspiration trip, visiting our favorite spots for sustainability, design, fashion, and innovation. The result: so much inspo for our Hackwith x DRS Spring ’20 collab shoe and capsule collection (sustainably crafted, of course). Take a look…
The Place: St. Louis, MO, headquarters for Dr. Scholl’s
The People: Dr. Scholl’s product development manager & sustainability expert Andee Burton, Dr. Scholl’s design director Katie Moore, Hackwith Design House designer and founder Lisa Hackwith, and Hackwith sewer Evan Ihde
First on our list of must-see inspiration spots was MADE, an innovative makerspace for local artists, designers and entrepreneurs to create and connect. It was the perfect place to refine our star collab shoe, the Maker, an essential mule with heel-to-toe sustainability.

1 SHOE. 1 TREE. ALL THE FEELS.
Our passion for sustainability started as a seed and grows with every shoe we make. That’s why, with every purchase of a pair of Original Collection shoes, we’re donating a tree to Trees for the Future to offset carbon emissions and help impoverished families around the world plant trees for a better life. Because new shoes, more trees, and changing lives… we’re all about it.
